The house was equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, making it feel like a home away from home. The free high-speed internet and parking were additional perks. The peaceful country setting was perfect for a relaxing Christmas getaway. The cottage provided thoughtful extras like toilet roll, washing up liquid, and laundry tablets. The WiFi was good, and it even had an extender in the furthest bedroom. The garden with swings and a trampoline was a hit with the kids.
The decor and furnishings were tired and in need of updating. The TV was old and not compatible with modern viewing.

The setting of the cottage was absolutely beautiful and provided a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The spaciousness and kid-friendly environment were perfect for our family. The cottage had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The children loved interacting with the chickens and horses on the property, and the trampoline was a hit. The WiFi signal was good enough for basic use, although it was a bit weak at times due to the remote location. The lawns and garden areas were lovely, providing additional space for the kids to play. We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again for a longer holiday and exploring the Aberdeenshire area.
The WiFi connection was occasionally weak and intermittent, which is not uncommon in this area. The single track roads in the farm area had potholes, so one should be cautious while driving.

I had a fantastic experience at a lovely quiet location with excellent facilities. the kitchen was very well equipped and the host support was friendly. It was the perfect spot for a quiet retreat to focus on work or to get away from the hustle and bustle. the location was also convenient, with a short drive to a great farm shop and not too far from Huntly for larger shopping needs. it was a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend. Cons: No issues at all! .
